Why the Effects Build Slowly

Because AMPK activation influences ongoing cellular metabolic processes rather than producing an acute pharmacological effect, the downstream changes — improved blood sugar stability, gradual shifts in body composition — accumulate over weeks rather than appearing immediately. This is consistent with clinical trial designs, which typically run 8-13 weeks to detect meaningful change.
